my guess is that the drainage system was simply overwhelmed.
I will ask our staff to check the drains for any debris that

Subject: Rain impact on LAX area
Hi Laurie,
Due to the rain this weekend, water flooded Vicksburg, at times
covering our sidewalks, and Century Blvd was practically a river.
Additionally, the water couldn't drain quickly enough, so it started to
get into our data center.
Have you received any updates on what failed that caused this
flooding? Are DOT or public works doing anything to remediate? We would
like to partner with you to advocate for the required improvements.
